Video: Tigran Avinyan Elected as Mayor of Yerevan

The newly elected council of Yerevan has chosen Tigran Avinyan as the city's 15th mayor. Out of 37 council members participating in the vote, 32 voted in favor of Avinyan, while 5 votes were against.

It is noteworthy that representatives from the 'Civil Contract,' 'Republic,' and 'Public Voice' factions attended the inaugural session of the newly elected council. However, the 'National Progress' and 'Mother Armenia' factions boycotted the meeting.
