Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in a speech before the media, promised that the country would seek revenge against the Palestinian Hamas organization for "this dark day," according to Haaretz.

"Hamas has started a brutal and evil war. We will win this war, but the cost will be high," he stated.

According to Netanyahu, he will ensure that what happened in Israel will not happen again. "The entire government supports this decision. The Israel Defense Forces will immediately use all its power to neutralize Hamas's capabilities. We will deliver a fatal blow to them, and we will take revenge for the dark day they brought upon the state of Israel and its citizens. This war will take time, it will be difficult, and we are facing tough days ahead," the Israeli Prime Minister said.
