Ruben Vardanyan Begins Testifying According to Azerbaijani Media
Ruben Vardanyan has begun to give testimony, reports Caliber.
The ethnic Armenian businessman, who renounced his Russian citizenship in 2022 and settled in Stepanakert, is actively providing testimonies to Azerbaijani investigative authorities, including related to his numerous contacts abroad. It has come to light that Vardanyan has collaborated with Thomas de Waal, an expert from the Carnegie Center. Furthermore, it has been revealed that Alexander Borodai from Donetsk, who is now a member of the Russian State Duma, has been funded by Vardanyan.
Additionally, there have been reports of a very close relationship between USAID President Samantha Power and Ruben Vardanyan. Power is currently financing separatists in Ukraine. It should not be ruled out that Vardanyan may be a double agent, as indicated by Moscow's indifference toward Vardanyan's fate following his arrest.
