If Sanctions Are Lifted, Iran Will Adhere to Nuclear Program Conditions: Statement
Tehran is committed to adhering to the conditions of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) regarding Iran's nuclear program if Western sanctions are lifted. This statement was made by the head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization, Mohammad Eslami.
“Iran does not engage in any activities that are not known to the IAEA. Furthermore, we are guided by the law on strategic measures for the lifting of sanctions; thus, Iran will continue to implement all provisions of the JCPOA if the restrictions are lifted,” Eslami's comments were quoted by the IRNA news agency.
“We operate under the rules of the IAEA, which oversees all our activities,” he emphasized.
