‘If Armenian soldiers surrender their weapons, they will be released and can go to Armenia’: Hajiyev

‘We know that Armenians and international media claim that we intend to arrest all soldiers. If they surrender their weapons, they will be free and will have the opportunity to go to Armenia.’ This statement was made by Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, in an interview with Agence France-Presse.

He also asserted that Armenians are leaving Artsakh voluntarily and that the term ‘ethnic cleansing’ is unacceptable.
