Displaced Persons from Artsakh Can Travel for Free on South Caucasus Railway
The South Caucasus Railway Company has granted the right to travel for free on its local electric trains for individuals displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh. The information was provided by the company's press service.
This opportunity is available starting from October 1, on a daily basis. Citizens forcibly displaced from Artsakh and relocated to Armenia can travel on the following routes:
- Yerevan-Gyumri-Yerevan on train number 684/687
- Yerevan-Gyumri-Yerevan on train number 686/685
- Gyumri-Yerevan-Gyumri on train number 681/682
- Arax-Yerevan-Arax on train number 7010/7011
- Jrarakh-Yerevan-Jrarakh on train number 6512/6517
The company notes that to travel by electric train, passengers must present their passport to the train conductor.
It is important to recall that Azerbaijan launched a large-scale attack on Artsakh on September 19, resulting in at least 200 casualties and over 400 injuries in just one day due to the aggression.
