“If Necessary, Armenia is Ready to Send Buses to Nagorno-Karabakh Again,” Says Sanosyan
Recently, 46 buses were sent to Stepanakert, which could transport about 2000 citizens from Armenia, but only around 1350 arrived. This was announced today by the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures, Gnel Sanosyan, during a press conference at the Humanitarian Center.
He noted that Armenia is prepared to send buses again to Nagorno-Karabakh if necessary, to transport forcibly displaced citizens. “We have sent two large groups of buses, and we have organized transportation for our compatriots who did not have vehicles. Moreover, the last time we sent 46 buses to Stepanakert, our partners there mentioned that there were up to 1500 people. The buses we sent could accommodate 2000 people, but only about 1350 arrived,” the minister stated.
According to Sanosyan, efforts are currently being made to ensure necessary conditions for the displaced citizens.
