Video: Armed Attack in Rotterdam Hospital and Residence, Multiple Casualties Including 14-Year-Old

An armed assailant has carried out two attacks in Rotterdam, resulting in multiple fatalities, according to Algemeen Dagblad, citing Dutch police.

The suspect initially opened fire in an apartment before proceeding to the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam. It is believed that the man injured two individuals in the apartment and subsequently set it on fire. He then moved to the hospital, where he opened fire in a student auditorium, reportedly targeting a teacher.

Law enforcement officials confirmed that a 39-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man died at two separate locations. According to the latest police information, the deceased couple’s 14-year-old daughter, who was also severely injured, has died in the hospital.

The police have arrested a 32-year-old resident of Rotterdam on suspicion of the shootings. It is known that he was previously convicted in 2021 for animal cruelty. Authorities are not seeking any other suspects at this time.
