The U.S. Plans to Establish an International Mission on the Nagorno-Karabakh Issue: State Department Spokesperson

The U.S. is planning to establish an international mission regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, which will monitor the protection of the rights of the region's inhabitants. This was announced today during a press briefing by Matthew Miller, the spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State.

“We genuinely believe that there should be an international mission that ensures the trust of the residents of Nagorno-Karabakh and the international community in that their rights and security are protected, as stated by Azerbaijan,” Miller said.

According to him, they are working on this direction with allies and partners.
