“If anyone thinks that the fighting in Artsakh is over, they are gravely mistaken” - Abrahamyan
If anyone thinks that the fighting in Artsakh is over, they are gravely mistaken. At this moment, there is merely a ceasefire. This was stated by MP Tigran Abrahamyan on his Facebook page.
“As for what is in store for Artsakh and its people, it remains very uncertain. There are constant negotiations with the Azerbaijanis, yet it is hard to even call it a negotiation. Essentially, the terrorist has a gun pointed to our heads, constantly threatening and dictating his actions, and at this moment, it is very difficult to refer to this process as negotiations. The regions are under blockade, Stepanakert is besieged, and people are in a hostage situation. Without serious international pressure, it is hard to have any expectations,” he wrote. “I am not saying this because of my inherently pessimistic nature, but we must evaluate the situation as accurately as possible in order to understand how we should proceed.”
