Protests Have Begun: Demonstrators Block Streets
Protests have commenced early in the morning. Andranik Tevanyan, the leader of the "Mother Armenia" alliance, announced this during a live broadcast on his Facebook page.
Demonstrators are blocking roads. A confrontation occurred between a policeman in a red beret and the protesters, while police are forcibly detaining some of the demonstrators.
It should be noted that protesters have already blocked several streets, including Mashtots Avenue in Yerevan, leading to temporary paralysis of traffic. However, a large number of police forces and those in red berets have since cleared the roads.
Additionally, a significant police presence has gathered at Republic Square, as a protest is scheduled for 10:00 AM following a series of peaceful acts of disobedience. Since early morning, numerous shield-bearing police officers have surrounded the Government building.
