Many casualties, wounded, and missing in Nerkin Horataq, says village head
The situation remains dire; they simply have not been firing since the ceasefire. This was stated by Arthur Mnatsakanyan, the head of Nerkin Horataq village in the Martakert region, during a conversation with MediaHub today.
“We are in the village and cannot go anywhere. There are many casualties and wounded from the village. Some residents are unable to contact their relatives, and there are those who remain in the positions and are out of reach; they are looking for help,” he said.
It is noteworthy that on September 19, Azerbaijan unleashed war against Artsakh, bombarding the entire territory. Numerous communities, strategically important roads, and heights have fallen into enemy hands. People have left their homes and are sleeping in the streets without food and water. There is a shortage of medicine. As of yesterday, it has been officially declared that there are 200 casualties and hundreds of wounded. Unfortunately, we all understand that these figures are not final.
