Police Detain 26 Individuals Blocking Streets in Yerevan

Today, 26 individuals who conducted acts of civil disobedience on various streets in Yerevan have been taken to police stations. This information was reported by the Public Relations and Information Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.

According to the police, "The 26 participants of the protest have been brought to the police under Article 182 of the Code of Administrative Offences (Failure to comply with the legal requests of a soldier of the police force or a police officer)."

It should be noted that from early morning, numerous citizens have been conducting acts of civil disobedience on the streets of Yerevan.

Also, Andranik Tevanian, the leader of the 'Mother Armenia' alliance, was detained today on Saryan Street.
