Boxing European Championship for U22 Moved from Baku at Request of Armenia

The European Boxing Championship for under-22 athletes, initially set to take place in Baku, has been relocated to Montenegro at the request of the Armenian Boxing Federation. This information has been confirmed by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports.

The president of the Armenian Boxing Federation, Hovhannes Hovsepyan, submitted a request to the European Boxing Confederation (EUBC) to change the venue considering the current situation and the need to ensure the safety of Armenian athletes under these circumstances. After evaluating the situation, the EUBC has granted Armenia's request.

The Youth European Championship in boxing is scheduled to be held from November 10 to 21.
