Coco Gauff Wins US Open Title for the First Time

The world number 6 Coco Gauff has won the title of US Open champion for the first time.

In the final, the 19-year-old tennis player faced the world’s number 2, Aryna Sabalenka from Belarus, and triumphed with a score of 2:6, 6:3, 6:2. The match lasted 2 hours and 5 minutes.

Coco Gauff captures her first Grand Slam title.

Gauff will receive 2000 ranking points and $3 million. Sabalenka will earn 1300 ranking points and $1.5 million. Sabalenka will become the world’s number one, surpassing Poland's Iga Swiatek.
