Zakhrova on the Inaction of Peacekeepers

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, recalled the statement of the Armenian leadership regarding the acknowledgment that Nagorno-Karabakh is officially part of Azerbaijan. This is how the diplomat commented on the Armenian Foreign Ministry's call to the UN Security Council and Russian peacekeepers to take measures to stop military operations by Azerbaijan.

“And what to do with the official recognition by Yerevan of Nagorno-Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan?” Zakharova wrote on Telegram.

Earlier, she stated that Russia is in contact with the Azerbaijani side, emphasizing that Moscow is deeply concerned about the escalation of the situation.
