Azerbaijan Opens Fire on Armenian Positions in Verin Shorja: Armenian Ministry of Defense

The Armenian Ministry of Defense has issued a statement, which we present below:

“On September 14, at approximately 22:30, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire with small arms towards the Armenian positions located in the Verin Shorja region of Gegharkunik Province,” the statement reads.

Earlier, we reported that the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense continues to spread misinformation. The statement from the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense, claiming that on September 14 at approximately 19:35, units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia allegedly opened fire on Azerbaijani positions located in the eastern part of the border zone, does not correspond to reality.”
