Armenian Defense Ministry Issues Statement

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia has issued a statement in response to the latest misinformation from the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense.

"The statement from the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense claiming that on September 15, between 21:15 and 22:05, Armenian Armed Forces units allegedly opened fire towards Azerbaijani positions located in the eastern section of the border does not reflect reality," the Armenian Defense Ministry's statement reads.

Earlier, it was reported that on September 14, around 22:30, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire with small arms towards Armenian positions located in the Verin Shorzha area (Gegharkunik Province).
