Artsakh Ministry of Defense Issues Statement

The Ministry of Defense of Artsakh has released statements, which are presented below:

“In connection with the movements and accumulations carried out by the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, certain alarming sentiments are being observed among the population of the Artsakh Republic. In this regard, we inform you that the Defense Army of the Artsakh Republic is conducting round-the-clock monitoring of the situation, and in the event of any significant developments, the public will be promptly informed. Currently, the dissemination of unverified information does not contribute in any way to the defense capacity of our country. It should also be noted that hostile intelligence services are primarily interested in fostering panic among the population. We urge everyone to follow official news reports,” the statement reads.

The Artsakh Ministry of Defense has also addressed the latest disinformation spread by the Azerbaijani side. “The statement from the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan claiming that the Defense Army units conducted fortification works in the Askeran region between 22:55 and 23:45 on September 16, which were reportedly halted due to the actions of Azerbaijani forces, is yet another piece of disinformation.”
