Video: Movement of 7 Bus Routes in Yerevan Now Available on Yandex Maps

Residents of Yerevan can now see in real-time how public transport is moving through the Yandex Maps application. The Yerevan municipality informs that seven routes—numbered 2, 25, 32, 34, 37, 61, and 77—have been equipped with the necessary devices. These have been installed in approximately 60 modern buses.

According to the source, an average of about 30,000 people use these routes daily. "You just need to open the Yandex Maps app to see where the bus of the desired route is at that moment. By clicking on the 'stops' icon, you can also find out how many minutes away the transport is from your stop. The information is updated every 30 seconds," the statement says.

It is noted that the community and Yandex plan to expand the project's capabilities to enable more residents to move comfortably around Yerevan. In the upcoming two months, 50 bus routes will be equipped with technical resources for more than 500 buses and trolleybuses of different capacities.
