Video. We Won't Allow Any Movement Here, the Turk to Come. Armenians on the Akna-Askeran Road
Armenians are still on the Akna-Askeran road and are insisting that they will not allow any movement to take place.
A woman participating in the protest mentions in a video shared on social media: “It is a lie, we have not allowed any assistance from Aghdam to enter Artsakh.”
“We will fight until the end and we will celebrate great, new victories,” she adds. One of the participants in the protest emphasizes that the information about Russian humanitarian supplies entering Artsakh through the Askeran road is false.
“We assure you that no Russian vehicle has transported any cargo along this road. No Russian vehicle will be transporting any cargo or assistance from Azerbaijan to the Republic of Artsakh. If an Armenian has a need, we have only one road: the unblocking of the Lachin corridor. We have only one source of assistance, and that is help from Armenia. If humanitarian supplies sent from Armenia do not reach Artsakh, then we do not need any assistance from anyone, especially not from Azerbaijan,” she stated.
It should be noted that the authorities of the Republic of Artsakh, due to the acute humanitarian issues arising from the complete blockade implemented by Azerbaijan, have decided to permit the entry of Russian cargo into our republic through the city of Askeran. This was reported by the Artsakh Information Headquarters.
“At the same time, an agreement has been reached to restore humanitarian cargo transportation through the Lachin corridor with the involvement of Russian peacekeepers and the International Committee of the Red Cross,” the statement reads.
