Bakoyan Shamelessly Exploits Official Vehicle and Gets Fined, While Taxpayers Cover the Fines: 'Hraparak'
'Hraparak' newspaper reports: 'As is known, following the dismissal of Taguhi Tovmasyan from the position of Chairwoman of the Human Rights Protection Committee of the Armenian National Assembly, the role was handed over to Rustam Bakoyan from the ruling party, known to the public for his notorious history of domestic violence against his civilian wife. Since taking on the temporary responsibilities of the head of the Human Rights Committee, Bakoyan has been shamelessly exploiting a state service vehicle; our correspondent has often spotted it parked in front of the ‘Dalma’ shopping center.
From sources within the National Assembly, we learned that Bakoyan has already been fined 5 times for violating traffic regulations in the past month and a half, almost each time with a fine of 20,000 drams and nearly all during the vacation period. The National Assembly has covered Bakoyan’s fines, meaning we, as taxpayers, are paying for them.'
