Inauguration Ceremony of Artsakh's Newly Elected President Held

The National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh convened a special session on September 10 for the inauguration of the newly elected president of Artsakh. Present at the event were three former presidents of the Republic of Artsakh, Arkadi Ghukasyan, Bako Sahakyan, and Arayik Harutyunyan, as well as representatives of the executive branch.

According to a report by Armenpress correspondent, the ceremony began with the national anthem of Artsakh, after which the newly elected president, Samvel Shahramanyan, took an oath by placing his hand on a 17th-century Gospel and the Constitution of Artsakh, in accordance with protocol.

Father Minas Mowseyan delivered the blessing speech, also conveying the blessing words from Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan, the head of the Armenian Apostolic Church's Artsakh Diocese.

Samvel Shahramanyan was congratulated by the Acting Speaker of the Parliament, Gagik Bagunts.
