Another Phone Conversation: What Did Pashinyan and the Prime Minister of Georgia Discuss?
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a phone conversation with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili. The interlocutors discussed issues related to the current situation in the region. They touched upon the deepening humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh due to the illegal blockade of the Lachin corridor, the accumulation of Azerbaijani forces around Nagorno-Karabakh, and the increasing tension along the Armenia-Azerbaijan state border.
Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized his commitment to the agreements reached in Prague on October 6, 2022, and in Brussels on May 14, 2023, as well as to resolving all issues exclusively through diplomatic means and in a constructive atmosphere. The Georgian Prime Minister stated his willingness to make the necessary efforts to establish peace and stability in the region. Both sides highlighted the importance of resolving current issues through peaceful negotiations.

It is noteworthy that earlier, Nikol Pashinyan had phone conversations with French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
