UN Security Council Countries Must Take Serious Measures to Prevent New Explosion: Prime Minister
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has announced that Azerbaijan intends to carry out military provocations against Artsakh and Armenia. He stated, “The situation is such that the international community, and the UN Security Council countries, must take serious measures to prevent a new explosion in our region.”
The Prime Minister also emphasized Armenia's commitment to the agreements reached in Brussels on December 14, 2021, in Prague on October 6, 2022, and again in Brussels in May 2023, as well as the trilateral declaration of November 9, 2020.
According to the Prime Minister, addressing the rights and security of the Armenian population of Artsakh is essential, particularly through the Baku-Stepanakert dialogue within an international mechanism and the unblocking of the Lachin corridor.
“Armenia is ready and willing to sign a peace agreement with Azerbaijan, and we express our commitment to the peace agenda,” he stated.
