Russia Launches 32 Drones Towards Ukraine, Several UAVs Fall and Explode in Romania
During a massive attack on Ukraine last night, kamikaze drones "Shahed-136/131" launched by Russia fell and exploded in neighboring Romania. This was reported on September 4 by Oleg Nikolenkо, a representative of Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, via Facebook.
According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, during this night’s mass strike in the Izmail port area, Russian "Shaheds" fell and exploded in Romanian territory. This is yet another confirmation that Russian missile terror poses a significant danger not only to Ukraine but also to neighboring countries, particularly NATO member states' security,” wrote Nikolenkо.
In this regard, Ukraine has appealed to partner countries for additional missile defense and air defense systems, as well as for the supply of combat aircraft.
It has been noted that last night, Russia launched a total of 32 "Shahed-136/131" unmanned aerial vehicles against Ukraine's south and east. Air defense forces managed to shoot down 23 of the drones.
