The General Directorate of Meteorology and AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Authority) have issued warnings of rain in the Black Sea region. In Samsun, the rain has led to flooding, inundating numerous homes and workplaces, with Atatürk Boulevard transforming into a large lake. Some vehicles have submerged in the water. Citizens on the streets have faced difficulties, and bus and tram operations in the city have been canceled.
AFAD has sent SMS alerts warning of the threat of flooding and heavy rainfall.
