Ukrainian Foreign Minister Advises All Official Critics to 'Be Silent'

The Ukrainian authorities have responded to reports from The New York Times, Washington Post, and other media outlets where Western officials have criticized the progress of the Ukrainian armed forces' counteroffensive. This is reported by Reuters.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, during a meeting of EU foreign ministers, advised all critics to 'be silent' and urged them to 'come to Ukraine and try to liberate one square centimeter on their own.'

The agency estimates that such an alert reflects Kyiv's frustration with the leaks of information by officials from the US and other Western countries in the media, who believe that the Ukrainian armed forces are moving too slowly in their counteroffensive efforts.

It should be noted that reports from The New York Times, Washington Post, and other media have cited assessments from representatives of US and other Western officials indicating that the Ukrainian armed forces' offensive has not met expectations. Some of the quoted officials have criticized Ukraine’s strategy and accused it of misplacing its military forces.
