Azerbaijani Information Network Prepares Public for New Actions Against Armenia: Azerbaijani Expert

Former MP and Azerbaijani expert Tatevik Hayrapetyan wrote on her Facebook page:

“Since mid-August, the Azerbaijani information network has been preparing its public for new actions against Armenia. A member of the ruling party in Azerbaijan stated in an interview on August 16 that allegedly “Armenia is deploying military equipment along the conditional border with Azerbaijan, with footage circulating regarding the relocation of artillery units, which resembles the events of last September. Even then, Armenia was engaging in dirty games, and it is well known that bloody incidents occurred as a result, with Azerbaijan inflicting serious blows on Armenia. They have felt the bitterness of their own provocations. It is possible that they will resort to similar incidents or provocations this September. In that case, the Azerbaijani state might still carry out counter-terrorism operations, citing international law. This would not be considered illegal in any case, as any state would exhibit such behavior under conditions of military provocation. Azerbaijan may also be forced to take such a step, and in that case, the political-military leadership of Armenia and their sponsors bear full responsibility for the development of all events.”

Another propaganda site published an article on August 18, stating that after the UN Security Council meeting, the third war has come closer. It is clear to anyone with even a modicum of thought that Azerbaijan is intentionally heading towards new aggression against Armenia; how long it will last and what kind of continuation it will have depends on the reaction of the international community, and of course, on our army's preventive actions. It is important for us to correctly represent the situation in terms of information and to show how Azerbaijan has promoted aggressive actions.
