New Commander of Russian Peacekeepers in Artsakh Revealed
A new commander of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Artsakh has been appointed: Major General Kiril Denis Kulakov.
Kiril Kulakov was born on July 20, 1969. He graduated from the Kazan Higher Military Command School in 1990. From 1995 to 2014, he worked as an instructor at the Kazan Higher Military Command School. From 2014 to 2017, he served as the commander of the 7th Separate Guards Red Banner Tank Brigade of the Orenburg Cossack Brigade (Chebarkul), which honors Suvorov, Kutuzov, and Alexander Nevsky. Since March 2017, he has been the commander of the Kazan Higher Military Command School. He holds the rank of Major General and has been awarded the medal for “Bravery in Service” (2009), the gratitude of the President of Tatarstan (2013), and commendations for “Services Rendered to the Republic of Tatarstan” (2019).
