Armenian Ministry of Defense Addresses Reports of Scuffle Involving Parents of Missing Soldiers

Parents of missing soldiers are at the Ministry of Defense. They have met with Deputy Minister Arman Sargsyan.

Reports circulating on the internet suggest that the meeting was quite tense, involving pushing and insults.

It was noted that today the parents were supposed to meet with Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan.

Auroranews contacted the spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense, Aram Torosyan, to verify the accuracy of the circulating information.

In our conversation, Torosyan stated that the Deputy Minister had met with the parents and informed them of the Minister’s willingness to hold individual meetings with them in the near future.

When asked for clarification if any incident had occurred, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense replied that no such incident took place.
