VIDEO: Shushan Has Been Admitted to an International School in Germany that Keeps Sheep, Says Pashinyan
Today, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the village of Haghvi as part of his two-day trip to the Lori province, where the construction of a modular school is nearing completion. The government has allocated 755 million drams for the implementation of the project. The school, designed for 140 students, is expected to be operational by December.
Pashinyan shared a video from his visit to the village on his Facebook page. He stated, "Let’s suppose Shushan (referring to his daughter Shushan Pashinyan) has been admitted to an international school in a German city where they keep sheep. In our case, if someone mistakenly says that we keep sheep at school, that day the Armenian Facebook community will drop everything and start laughing at what they are saying, saying you’ve turned the school into a barn. But we need to change that mindset because if our villager, we all keep a cow and are not becoming wealthy, then we are keeping that cow wrong; if we keep a sheep and are not becoming wealthy, then we are keeping that sheep wrong," Pashinyan added, noting that this is an educational issue.
