VIDEO: "I have four children, expecting a fifth, but I don't receive benefits," farmer tells Pashinyan
The Prime Minister of Armenia has familiarized himself with the renovation of the community center in the village of Agarak in the Lori Berd community, as well as the ongoing landscaping works in the area. Pashinyan also met with local residents to listen to their raised concerns. One man stated, "I have four underage children, and we are expecting a fifth, but I don’t receive any benefits. I am a citizen of Georgia, and my children are Armenian citizens."
Pashinyan presented the government's stance, saying, "If a person is capable of working, why should they receive benefits? Today, companies are looking for workers from other countries to come and work in Armenia. Construction is underway throughout the republic. A healthy person should work and support their family."
In response, the man mentioned that he is working and taking care of his children, but he wishes for things to be equitable for everyone.
