‘It’s Not a Good Sign’ – Primakov on the Ban of Krivopuskov’s Entry to Armenia
The rejection of Viktor Krivopuskov, head of the Russian company for friendship and cooperation with Armenia, from entering the Republic of Armenia is 'not a good sign.' This was stated to TASS by Yevgeny Primakov, head of 'Rossootrudnichestvo.'
'It’s not a good sign, and it’s particularly unfavorable not only in the context of our former partner’s biography, who led our cultural center even before I came to 'Rossootrudnichestvo,' but also from the perspective of the Armenian authorities' attitude towards Russia,' he said.
At the same time, Primakov noted that this incident has not affected the activities of Rossootrudnichestvo in Armenia. According to him, the representation is successfully operating in the country.
It is worth recalling that, as Krivopuskov himself reported on August 24, the border service of Yerevan's 'Zvartnots' Airport denied him entry into Armenia. Official bodies in Armenia have yet to comment on this incident.
