Artsakh Police Provide Details About Incident

On August 28 at 03:05, a police officer from the Patrol Police Battalion reported that an armed attack occurred on February 20 Street in Stepanakert, towards the residence of the President of the Republic of Artsakh. This information was provided by the Artsakh Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The operational group of the Stepanakert city police, which arrived at the scene, managed to apprehend two citizens who were in an intoxicated state on Martuni Street, suspected of committing the mentioned crime. They are T.H. (born 1983) and A.A. (born 1981), both residents of Stepanakert.

Police officers established that around 03:00 AM, with prior agreement and under the influence of alcoholic beverages, they approached the presidential residence and opened fire towards the building and the security personnel present in the area.

The materials prepared have been sent to the Investigative Committee. A criminal case has been initiated in connection with the incident.
