An earthquake measuring 5 on the Richter scale has struck the Malatya province in Turkey. This information was reported by the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).
According to the agency's statement on the X (formerly Twitter) social media platform, the seismic activity was recorded in the Yeşilyurt district at 08:35 local time (09:35 Yerevan time).
The earthquake's epicenter was located at a depth of 7 kilometers.
