Truck Hits 9-Year-Old Boy Crossing the Road with Mother, Tragically Dies on the Spot

In the administrative territory of Jamshlu village in the Aragatsotn region, a 41-year-old man, Harutyun S., driving a KamAZ truck with a trailer, struck a 9-year-old boy, Rustam Usoyan, a resident of the same village. This incident was reported by Shamshyan.com.

The collision occurred on August 23 at around 1:20 PM. It is noted that the driver did not flee the scene and called for an ambulance, where attending doctors confirmed the child's death. According to reports, the truck was transporting wheat at the time of the accident.

The investigative authorities have initiated criminal proceedings in connection with the incident. Additionally, it is important to mention that the deceased boy, Rustam Usoyan, was crossing the road with his mother. This information was provided to MediaHub today by the principal of Jamshlu Primary School, Temur Khudoyan.

In a conversation with the media outlet, he stated that the child was holding his mother's hand while crossing the street but briefly let go, walked ahead, and was hit by the KamAZ truck coming from Yerevan.
