In Pakistan, rescuers successfully brought down 7 children and 1 teacher who had been stranded for 15 hours on a cable car suspended 274 meters above the ground. This was reported by Reuters.

It is noted that the dangerous rescue operation lasted more than 15 hours and concluded during the night.

"Pakistani military personnel successfully completed an extremely complex and challenging operation. All individuals trapped were safely evacuated and moved to a secure location," stated the country's military department in a report.

One of the two cables of the cable car had snapped, leaving the cabin dangling at a height of 274 meters. Earlier, Reuters reported that there were 6 children and 2 teachers on the cable car. The incident occurred in the early morning as they were heading to school in a nearby village.
