Drone Shot Down in Istra Region Falls Near Margarita Simonyan's House

Margarita Simonyan, the editor-in-chief of the Rossiya Segodnya media group and RT, reported on her Telegram channel that a drone shot down this morning fell on a nearby street in the Istra region of Moscow.

“The drone shot down in the Istra region fell in a street next to ours. Thanks to our air defense, there were no casualties or damage,” Simonyan wrote.

On Monday morning, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced two attempts by Kyiv to attack with aviation-type drones in the Moscow region. The first drone was suppressed by a radio-electronic strike and fell near the village of Pokrovskoye in the Ruza district, while the second was shot down over the Istra region.
