Crimea Faces Fuel Shortage
In the last month, there has been a recurring shortage of gasoline at gas stations in Crimea. Recently, customers of one of the fuel companies operating in the peninsula received notifications urging them to stock up on fuel for future use due to potential interruptions in the supply of certain types of fuel.
Residents of various cities in Crimea have reported that gasoline has been intermittently disappearing from all major fuel networks' gas stations, including ATAN, TES, RedPetrol, and Grifon. Speculations regarding potential disruptions in the supply of fuel and lubricants in Crimea began after a drone strike by the Ukrainian Navy on July 17 caused two powerful explosions, damaging the automobile section of the bridge crossing the Kerch Strait. While the railway section remained intact, fuel supplies for tanks along that route have been halted.
The gas station networks have also issued announcements confirming the fuel shortage in Crimea.
