Igor Yasulovich, People’s Artist of Russia, Passes Away
Igor Yasulovich, a People’s Artist of Russia and the artistic director of a course at the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS), has passed away at the age of 81. The information was confirmed by GITIS.
“With great sadness, we announce that our distinguished master, People’s Artist of Russia Igor Nikolaevich Yasulovich, has died today,” stated the institute’s Telegram channel.
Igor Yasulovich was born on September 24, 1941. He appeared in several films such as “The Diamond Arm,” “12 Chairs,” “June 31,” “The Same Munchausen,” “Guardamarins, Ahead,” and many others. Recently, he performed at the Vladimir Mayakovsky Theatre, playing the role of Gregory Solomon in Arthur Miller’s “The Price.”
