"Please Stop Publicizing the Possible Location of Children": Spokesperson of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Zara Manucharyan, has urged the public to refrain from publicizing the possible location of children depicted in a controversial video.

“Dear colleagues and citizens, we kindly ask you to stop publicizing the possible location of the children right now. By doing so, you make the children targets again and render them more vulnerable,” Manucharyan wrote on her Facebook page.

It is reminded that a video circulated online showing a woman committing violence against a minor girl. As a result of joint actions by the Public Safety Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the police departments of Gavar and Central, the woman depicted in the video has been identified.

A criminal case has been initiated by the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia in connection with the video. The woman, A.A., has been arrested based on reasonable suspicion of committing a crime.
