KP Headquarters to Be Managed by Heads of Administrative Districts: 'Zhoghovurd'
The newspaper 'Zhoghovurd' reports that there are only a few days left until the official start of the election campaign for the Yerevan city council elections. The 14 political forces that submitted applications to participate in the elections continue to actively prepare for the campaign.
According to information from 'Zhoghovurd', the ruling 'Civil Contract' party has already secured headquarters in all administrative districts of Yerevan. Although the headquarters are not officially operating yet, with no signs or posters up, they have begun to function in practice. They will officially operate from August 23.
'Zhoghovurd' also learned that, by the decision of KP headquarters leader Armen Pambukhchyan, the headquarters in the administrative districts will be coordinated by the heads of those districts, similar to previous failed attempts. This means that the heads of the administrative districts are expected to gather votes using their administrative resources.
Earlier, we reported that the KP electoral headquarters will operate in the building of 'Ucom' on Northern Avenue, which is still undergoing renovations. More details can be found in today's issue of the newspaper.
