I Am Here to Request the Support of This Esteemed Organization: Ararat Mirzoyan
The current humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh can greatly worsen the prospects for peace throughout the entire South Caucasus region. This was stated by Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan during a UN Security Council meeting.
Mirzoyan highlighted the fundamental human rights that are currently being violated in Nagorno-Karabakh. He systematically referred to all the obligations that Azerbaijan was supposed to fulfill but has violated.
“I am here to request the support of this esteemed organization,” said Mirzoyan.
According to the Foreign Minister, Nagorno-Karabakh is currently not receiving necessary food, medicine, and fuel. The operations of kindergartens, transportation, and hospitals are disrupted, and agricultural work is not carried out as Azerbaijan regularly violates the ceasefire.
