Political Forces in the Netherlands Petition Prime Minister Amid Situation in Artsakh: Tigran Balayan

Almost all political forces in the Netherlands have petitioned the country's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister regarding the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh. Tigran Balayan, Armenia's ambassador to the Netherlands, stated this on his Twitter (X) page.

“In light of Azerbaijan's illegal blockade of Lachin, prior to an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council following Moreno Ocampo's warnings, nearly all political parties in the Dutch parliament have requested the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister to act in accordance with the Genocide Prevention Convention,” he noted.

Balayan also published a document in which parliamentarians demand that the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister operate in accordance with the Genocide Prevention Convention during the UN Security Council meeting.
