In Makhachkala, people are being evacuated from the emergency site due to the risk of repeated explosions, Russian-language media reports. The death toll has reached 9, with more than 20 individuals reported injured.

The explosion occurred at a car service center, after which a fire broke out at a nearby gas station. According to some Telegram channels, the fire has also spread to nearby buildings.

Emergency services and city officials are currently on-site coordinating response efforts.
