Ukrainian Ambassador's Advisor Drowns in Lake Sevan: Reports

On August 13, at 20:17, the crisis management center of the Gegharkunik regional rescue service received information that lifeguards at the second public beach of Lake Sevan had noticed a citizen who went missing while swimming about 25 meters from the shore, according to reports from the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

According to the Ministry's rescue service, the lifeguards swam to the area and retrieved the citizen from a depth of approximately 1.5 meters, then transported the individual to the shore using a rubber motorboat. Paramedics later confirmed the citizen's death.

According to information from Shamshyan.com, the drowned individual is identified as S. O., an advisor to the Ukrainian ambassador in Armenia.
