Elon Musk Does Not Take the Fight Seriously, Says Zuckerberg
The head of Tesla, Elon Musk, does not take seriously the fight that the two billionaires supposedly agreed to hold at the end of June, said Meta Corporation owner Mark Zuckerberg.
In a post on the Threads social network, Zuckerberg wrote that he had suggested Musk set a date, but in response, he heard excuses.
Last week, Zuckerberg stated that he proposed to fight on August 26. On Friday, Italy's Minister of Culture announced that he had spoken with Musk about the possibility of holding the meeting in the country as a charity event.
Musk suggested the fight be in the style of Ancient Rome. However, on Sunday, Zuckerberg wrote on Threads, “Elon didn’t confirm the date, then said he needs surgery, and now he is asking to practice in my backyard instead.”
“If Elon ever wants to seriously set a real date for an official fight, he knows how to reach me. Otherwise, it’s time to move on. I am going to focus on competing against people who are serious about the sport,” added Zuckerberg.
On his platform X, Musk responded by calling the Meta chief a coward.
