Azerbaijan Spreads Fake Photos of Vagif Khachatryan

Azerbaijani media has circulated a photograph purportedly showing Vagif Khachatryan, a resident of Nagorno-Karabakh, during the First Nagorno-Karabakh War. However, the person depicted in the image is actually someone else, as reported to Armenia Sputnik by Andranik Yeghoyan, head of the Department for the Protection of the Rights of Servicemen and Their Families at the Ombudsman's office.

This particular photo, along with many other images disseminated in the Azerbaijani media, has been collected and analyzed by the Ombudsman's office. With this photograph, Azerbaijan has been spreading misinformation.
