Temperature to Rise by Another 2-3 Degrees

Weather without precipitation is expected in the republic from August 11-15. The wind will be southwest at 2-3 m/s; on the 12-15th in the foothills of Aragatsotn and Kotayk, and in Armavir, gusts of wind are expected in the evening hours at speeds of 13-16 m/s.

The temperature will rise by another 2-3 degrees on August 11. In Yerevan, weather without precipitation is also expected from August 11-15. On August 12-15, evening gusts of wind at speeds of 12-14 m/s are anticipated.

From August 10-14, during the daytime from 16:00-18:00, temperatures in the Ararat Plain, in the valleys of Syunik, and in Yerevan are forecasted to reach +40...+42 degrees. High fire danger situations are also expected in Yerevan, the Ararat Plain, the foothills of Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Vayots Dzor, and in the valleys of Syunik and Tavush from August 12-15.
